is this the mob where last year one of the guys who run it actually won??? something i read in one of my moments of weakness and looking at another site!!

Correct, one of the organisers did have his name pulled from the hat, he then re-donated the bike for a re-draw
which unfortunatly the gaming act ruled he could not do...
The bike ended up being a gift for the second draweeeeeeee

The draw took place live and in front of hundreds of people, I was not part of this comittee last year, and it all looked ok to me

Yeah I was there too with Mel, he told them to redraw when they pulled his name out.
I would have gone into a corner and cried.

Hey that's right, I won third in the bike show too....not telling what with though.
