G'day - top site and I'm keen to learn from it. Just starting to mod my MT01 - some past posts seem to bag the beasts. Personally I love it - my 28th bike (no fool like an old fool) - nice note, reasonable handling, and awesome torque. Over 30yrs of riding I've realised I owned/created (and totalled) a few streetfighters without knowing it. My fav was a much modified Rickman Kawa1000 - lots of goodies - alloy tank, stage 3 yoshi kit, etc - will dig up pics. Enough reminiscing - I'm keen to talk to any other MT01 owners doing mods - bits seem scarce in Oz.
Cheers

Welcome aboard Bernie. That's one bike that there's not many of around these parts. I know Glen has done one: http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2184 - maybe see if he can help?

welcome aboard bernie - I personally love the MT01. My brother owns one - the torque and delivery of the engine is just awesome.
Dont be put off I just think a few of the blokes on here are prejudiced against anything with push rods [:p]
