Here it is, all done, painted and looking good.
The guage pod doesn't really suit the round speedo and tacho so I'll do something about that later.
But for now, that's about it.
I might lower it another inch or so on the bike.
That's my son, Chris, holding the stand.

That worked out well Phill. The stripe was definitely needed. She's just about done now isn't she mate? Done in time for the shoot?

Yeah mate the Rapid shoot is tomorrow morning so I got a couple of little tidy ups to do.
Then just give it a good wash and away we go.

Great job mate, looks fuggen shithot[:p]
Tell me, how come you've got -5hg of vacuum, with the ignition off?
Looks like you're gonna have to superglue the needle to the shaft[V]

Hahaha good spotting Benz I was wondering when someone would notice that.
Fuck knows what happened there, I didn't notice it until posted the pics. Will see what it does when I fire it up.

Those are Moto Detail guages Ozzy. Most wreckers will carry them for a coupla hundred each. They got a nice blue glow at night but ADHDKev managed to get his speedo to fall apart, but he goes pretty hard on the stunting. Time will tell how well these last.

I got that Rapid shirt at the fools run Cruise. It was one of those "I went to the fools run and all I got was this crappy t-shirt" things. Too small for me so the young bloke scored it.

Big day tomorrow, hopefully I can lay a big smoky burnout for the press, but it's at the racetrack and they may get stroppy.

Went pretty well, froze my arse off and completely fucked my rear tyre doing a burnout.
My young bloke got a video so I'll try and work out how to get it up on you tube when i get a chance.
It's just a pity he couldn't get closer.
Should be some good pics from the photographer though !

Good man! :D
Far too few people prepared to sacrifice a bit of rubber on a bike shoot nowadays...
Looking really good too - Zed fairing really suits the bike, and mounted and just the right height too! (another refreshing change, too many headlight fairngs mounted too high!)

high headlight fairings completely spoil the lines of the bike.
