I was in Syd for the long weekend and caught up with a mate who has found a good use for a cat converter.
Wayne from Tuneboy.com.au has the ultimate exhaust on his turbo Triumph, thought it was the sort of thing that would be appreciated here;)

I too worried that my bike will shoot fire out the side of the engine (along with bits of piston) to think of doing something like that.

Looks pretty cool though.

what exactly is burning?? is it just the unburnt fuel?
i get little flames and what not coming from the back of mine on hard engine braking, but its alot louder and no where as flamie as that :D

Yep just unburnt fuel on overrun, the cat converter is white hot only just before the outlet, no other muffler (other than turbo)
noise level is ok.standing next to it the heat is noticable, bit like a garage heater.
