I'm a big fan of the look of the new FZ. Never tried one though. They have so much potential and still not really common. Yes, I know it's a Yamaha. Running the R1 gear so it should be pretty sound.

As an ex ZRX owner I gotta say i loved my old girl though there are 3 mods you have to make if you own one.
New Can and jets.
Ignition advance.
Drop a tooth of the front sprocket (speedo is front wheel cable driven :))

Makes it a completely different bike and really has some decent stick from down low.

I've heard only good things about Z750s and they are cheap new (might be worth a test ride),also CB900 Hornets and VTR1000s were on runout prices not long ago.
Know a bloke with a silver ZRX, and I'm pretty sure I've seen a blue one as well.
Brother in law liked his XJR1300 so much, he bought another one as soon he got out hospital after writing it off.
After taking a KTM Superduke and a Tuono for a blat I'd have either of them if I could afford it(20k +).
Decisions, decisions, lots of bikes out there, Jim.[:p]

I had a 2002 Speed Triple and it was great. The new model looks tiny but when you actually sit on it its quite roomy. I went through BMW finance as they do Trumpys too. It was something ridiculously cheap like 8.5 %.

I reckon if you could stretch the $, have a crack at the Benelli! 1130cc triple!! sign me up(i wish)

Damn mate - if i'd had seen this thread earlier i would have tried to convince you to join the dark side (FZ1) - they are getting a bit of an undeserved bad rap) - It came down to the same 2 for me as well and I really liked the single sided arm on the trumpy - but the Yamy engine - :D:D:D:D:D - and now I got a leovince pipe on it the injection snatchiness is all but gone - Woohoo [8D]

Enjoy
