Made some progress recently.

Got a nice CF tank protector

Mini brake res (for now).

Finished cleaning up the tail.

Genuine CF Hugger.

Still got a few things on the go.

The KTM SuperDuke front is at the painters.

Still need a green spring for the shock (the blue looks shocking ;))

hey franken

i've got an '00 model (955) that i've had for the last 5 years - no dramas with it after 60k - main problem is it goes thru rear tires a lot:D

have heard the 1050 is a strong motor n with the right pipe n tune as krash has done can put out reasonable power

they have a great note when on song

I had a '98 model and loved it. It didn't have the big power of the 4s up top end but it did get there fast and you'll be pawing the air a lot, and as Watto says, on full song it sounds great (I had the carbon high pipe).

This is my Ex sat on it:

As for the lastest model, Tony has got that thing looking great. Never tried one but I do know that Puppet had one for a few weeks when they first came out as he was haning ot get it, but once he got it he hated it and sold it. Maybe just his opinion?

Look, - back to the topic! Nice work Tony, I thought that tank pad was a bit mad in the first photo but when you see it in context with the tail and subframe dark section it looks great.

Gee i am not a fan of that tank protector. I know it will protect the paint but it doesnt do much for the lines.

Fantastic looking bike though. I cant wait to see the new KTM light unit as i think Triumph have to realise the current front end looks cheap and unfinished with the instruments poking up in mid air. The accessory triumph fairing makes it look even worse!! Its a shame as the rest of the bike looks fantastic. That Superduke fairing will be the perfect solution.
