Hi Gixkat, yeah I used to work in Casterton and spend all my spare time riding the dirt tracks in the Bagellah State forest. Now I love riding the road from Casterton to Heywood. See ya at the Casterton drags one day.;)

I am testing a special fuel line. So far so good. The problem people run into with tube reservoirs is they over fill them. Keep 20mm air space as the fluid needs to re-enter the tube on brake application.
I pulled up from 150kph during an emergency stop the other night with no probs.

In the second photo you got what looks like a finger operated rear brake:D

Is it so[?]

Can you show me a photo of the mount up system you got on the rear brake leaver because by the looks of the photo its cable operated number:D

And if so how does it work well/ok/shit house;)

Hi Damo, yes good call, the 'brake' is cable activated and the 'caliper' is spring loaded, so once activated the 'caliper' has to be reset by hand which is easliy done while riding. It clicks into place. Works shit-hot.

So its like a hand brake[?]and locks on is that what you mean[?]

Does the cable run to the calipure or the rear brake leaver[?]

Hey Watevr, I see you are running an ignition advancer. What changes did you notice to the power delivery?

HAHA, Damo's a little slow on the uptake :D
I think that lever is for serious high speed runs when you don't want your numberplate causing extra wind drag ;)

tony the ign adv made a big difference to the way it pulled through the mid range and top. a lot 'cleaner' or qicker how ever you want to explain it!so it made it great on the track but to get any real benefit on the road you need to change the gearing so you get into the guts of the rev range quicker.
excuse the lack of sense in that speel as im being harassed by the kids!!

Hey WATEVR, found myself a secondhand Factory 4 deg ingnition advancer and slipped her in today. Wow I was suprised that I really could notice the difference. Especially in the midrange. I always knew I was running too rich down low but the advancer really cleaned up the jetting. Made the motor vibrate less and rev faster to redline. More grunt in the midrange made the front wheel air itself with ease. Love it!!!;)

sweet yeah it it spun me out when it just wanted to start lifting the front in the first couple of gears from about 9k!! and i have a single wheel disability that sees me unable to wheelstand anything!!!!

hey mate - what did that front guard come off originally?

Chopped down zx7r?

cutcat
29-05-2007, 07:04 PM
Yeah its a cut down ZX7R. The standard guard is so massive you can hardly even see any chrome on the USDowners. So I fixed that. If you've got 'em, flaunt 'em![8D]

Thanks FIEND, its a shame that I need to sell this one to get the next project off the ground, so she's back on the market again. She has served me well, never let me down, good handling, fast and most of all fun to ride.

Hey welcome Sideeways. The sprockets are big on the front and the rear to give me clearance over the swingarm, cos I have her jacked up pretty high. The gearing is lower than standard but she stills pulls 250.
As for RWC, you will need to replace the reservoir tubes with the original fluid reservoirs, which I still have. And put original style indicators/mud flap assembly back on the bike which I still have. Everything else should be A1.
