It is all fucking EXBEN and FIMP'S fault.

I visited the Extreme Creations House of Pain, where there was talk of a cheap way to get a 240 rear into my TL and i have been staring at the ceiling at night thinking of my options.

Keep in mind i promised my missus i would not fighter this bike when i bought it two months ago.

So i am asking for opinions about how the bike would look and i reserve the right to blame insanity and forget the whole sordid idea.

I figure i could cut and shut the subframe, rip the plastics off, keep the front end clean and add some select lights and then assess whether the 240 rear would be overkill or not. I can get a 200 onto the standard rim as is.

So fire away and go to Bens shop at your own peril.

You're not going to run forward controls are you ?
I can't see you running a saddle with rearsets and still being able to talk like a man afterwards.

how "cut and shut" are we talkin' here nath??

bladerod short?

could could hang the battery off of the side of the engine with the tlr setup
but i think it looks fugly naked [XX(]

i would get a slightly shorter tailpiece, like one of the lower german ones that dont kick up too much

my subframe design might even bolt straight on, and i can adapt that to fit whatever tail u want ;)

Bladerod short mate. I figure if its got no pillion seat anyway, why bother with a plastic tailpiece??

I would makeup a battery box to go under the seat. With a bitubo in it the rotary door closer will leave some space anyway.

My only concern is the tls frame. It would have to be powdercoated black but it still might look like shit.

This is just speculation at this stage. I have the half fairing off and i am going to pull the tail off this weekend and stand back and see if it will look pox or not.

I dont think i could get it to look any good with a perimiter frame . Needs a spine frame.

The TLS aint real pretty nekkid. I thought the alloy trellis would look nice, but nup.

Pity though, as with the suzuki twin in there it could be a beast.

To each there own i guess, but the confederate Hellcat is as good as it gets for mine. I am not going to have 60 grand anytime soon though, thats for sure. And they sure aint a fuckin chopper.
