Stick a Bandit motor in it mate. I think the slabbie 750 will accept it but be very tight. That way you have a relatively new engine with shit loads more grunt.

i spoke to my local dealer and he recond they wouldn't fit.. i think they look the same but i didn't investigate any further. have you seen it done??
i know the 1100's fit, is there any phisical change to the bandit motor from 1100??

I think slabbie frames are more accomodating than the later Slingys for the conversion to 1100 motors and Bandits are the same animal physically.BUT...I'm no expert!
Someone on the site will know for sure though.

it will fit.

all the engine mounts are in the same spots and you will use all the same mounts bolts and brackets as the 750.

to only difference will be the height of the head and carbs as the 1200 has a longer stroke. have a look at the clearance around the carbs and see if you have 15mm to spare that way when the taller motor goes in you will be right for clearance.

personally haven't done a slabby conversion but if the 1100 fits then so will the 1200. you may have issues around you filters hitting the frame.

good luck

Yes they do fit - i have a slabby frame and a bandit and have measured it up + read posts that it fits (but tight fit at the filters at that)
