Oz1127 That rim is goin in the GPZturbo,in the background, along with a complete '98USD Gixxer front end in the cupboard.:)
You like my hi-tech setup Davo? What about the matching cutdown children's bed as bike stand......, and a marshall bass amp bottom as a trolley.
We can do cheap:D

You trashed a Marshall stack to make the trolley!? Or was that the result of a very rock and roll moment?

Someone else trashed the speaker and circuitry, then expected me to fix it! The only real fix was to turf the broken bits and keep the cab, then, as that was next to useless, I 've ended up using the base and wheels as a motor trolley..... got some use out of the thing at least[8D]
I have another identical cab spare anyway..and a fender twin cab too. Fixing musical gear for a [part time]living sometimes has it's advantages, but mainly it's like "Can you turn my $200 chinese copy into a Les Paul custom for $50.00":D

Ah yes, the "I bought this at Cash Converters, what do I have to do to make it sound good" routine. Answer as always: Put it in the bin.

I hear ya Si.:)
Do you repair guitars too? I remember reading something in the 'What do you do for a living?',thread.
Devo, do you need the clutch cover? I would like to see if I can convert the slabby 11 motor to the later model ,actuator in the cover, cable clutch.
I've already changed it to a GSXF cable setup, but that uses the rod through arrangement, and I'm not a huge fan of it, and this clutch is a grabby thing anyway. I've got another basket here, but it's rivets are almost as loose as the original.
I don't know if there is enough clearance/ cover width, to allow the actuator enough movement, with the longer 1100 basket, but there's not much use even trying if you need the cover, with the motor.

Nah Ive got a cover off the 91 model hopefully that will fit.
Cheers,
Devo.

I tried to make the cover swap-over, but the primary drive gear is different,[can't even swap the whole clutch assemblies over]the alternators have different gearing, and the 1100 basket is way too long to use the 750's clutch cover actuator.
So it's all yours Devo.

Nah Benz. I used to set up mates guitars for them - you know, get the intonation right after the locking trem confused the issue for them. Used to guitar tech for some mates bands as well back in the early 90's. Just do my own now.
