Ok so here the thing can I use a GSXR750 oilcooled head on the 88 1100 oilcooled barrels (which are bored out to 1109 cc ) been told I can but is it the short stroke or long stroke.
Or does someone have a head for the 1100 / bandit around anywhere.

i wouldn't have thourght it would be an issue. just have to check all the clearances and compression. the 1109 kit would be high comp as it is so if the cc of the head is smaller than the 1100 your comp could be quite high.

worst case you may have to play with the combustion chamber shape and squish.

wouldn't the L model 750 head be the go as it has the larger valves?

I was told that the 750 J or K (short stroke) heads were the go on a 1100.
The 750J/K valves were bigger than the other 750's but not as big as the 1100's,
Then can be made to flow more than the 1100's.

They shouldn't be to hard to fit as you can use 1100 barrels on your 750,GSXR900?

The 750 combustion chamber is smaller (more squish)so while better porting your compression will increase a little.

Lookup Old Skool Suzuki under seven eleven then the 'Frankensteins Guide to Oil Colled Monsters' as they spell it out for you I believe.
