alot of blokes go for gixxer cams and heads and they get results but if you realy want to hop up power go for a big bore je piston kit or wisco one mate:D

The best bang for your bucks will be a stage 3 jet kit, pod filters and a nice open exhaust.

Here are a couple of sites that have everything you will need for the ol' Bandit:

http://www.banditmania.co.uk/

http://www.justbandits.com/

I have bought a bunch of stuff from Banditmania and have had no hassles at all.

I got mine from Banditmania as nobody in Australia stocks them. All they will do here is wait for a bunch of orders and get them sent over as a job lot.

get a factory pro jet kit mate. they are great value compared to dynojet kits.

gotta remember you dont ride a dyno or at full rpm therefore your bandit cams are the best for midrange and low down torque.

if anything i would put a big bore kit in it and that will up the comp a bit aswell. if you go to big you will have cooling issues.

i think that 1mm oversize on a bandit will give you 1216cc

Stage 3 carbs, open filters, full exhaust system will give around 120ish BHP, add 1216 and this will bump up the compression and BHP to around 150 at the back wheel. Ive had the full monty done on mine...big bore, head and valve job , stage 1 Kent cams on slotted sprockets, HD cam chain and manual adjuster, beefed up clutch....blah blah blah..... personally i would keep the standard B12 cams to retain the bottom end grunt coz all my power is now way up in the rev range. The cams can be mixed n matched to give different results, it just depends on what you want to achieve :D

deffo stay with the bandit cams m8. If you go to the gixxer cams you'll loose that wheely inducing midrange. If you go for open k&n's it will be virtually unridable till you get the stage 3 kit in. Do the stage 3, filters, exhaust & upgrade the clutch to start.

you will need a stage 3 kit to run with with pod filters.
