Gday, been looking at some new head lights/fairing for the bike, how do they go hiding those god awful clocks, or are there any fancy new (maybe lecky) dials that would fit under those screens, been looking at the ufo, dirtbike type screens they look pretty flush against the bars.

Yeah support Stu (quickdraw) where you can but otherwise check the links on the front page. Another place I have used is www.streetfighterstore.com - they are a brittish mob and can be useful if you dont speak german - they have a fair range of aftermarket lights - not cheap tho and a bit of a wait on stuff. Took me 8 weeks to get a set of mirrors/indicators and grips once...

Also Ben at Extreme Creations does digital dashes. The plastic case units are very good value to replace the clocks you now.

Mate,

Honestly, those lights throw stuff all light out. They use those ligt globes in household down lights. Spend the extra money and get a proper set of headlights that take a h3/h4 type globe.

I have never had a problem with a lack of light from halogen downlights.
Get a couple of 50 watters with a nice narrow beam and you will piss off the bloke in front of you every time. I have mates waving me past as soon as it gets dark to avoid being in front of them.:D

i have mounted one of those to a mates tl and if you are keeping stock clocks then you need to mount it out from forks a bit to give you enough room and as for how bright they aren't great but they get the job done .:D

I have just taken one of those unit's off my bike, I managed to get hold of a 100w globe for the high beem a while ago but haven't riden it at night to try it out, it lit the shed up pretty good though. I also converted the two outside lights to indicators.

The brand was OSRAM, there made for photo optic lamps,(we use them as inspection lights at work). Part number Xenophot 64627 HLX EFP 12V 100W GZ6.35.

If you can't track one down, let me know, I can get them.
