Righto the blade has seen a Fools run, and now its time to move on. I am buying me a twin.
It has been a great bike and an excellent project to learn on.
Specs are as follows:
1996 Fireblade, K & N pods, Dynojet kit, Moriwaki end can (cut down of course). Factory Pro shift kit. The jet kit was installed and tuned on the Dyno by Bikecare in Newcastle and put out 120hp at the wheel.
Hesa type 6 headlight unit, ABM fatbars, MCS risers, Oberon bar end mirrors, Rizoma billet resevoir, Acwell digital dash, Hesa tail riser, clear brake lines front and rear, BSR aerotech stainless bolt kit with anodised cup washers, Triumph speed triple front guard, most fasteners replaced with stainless,new 16/ 45 gearing(also comes with a brand new 15 tooth front sprocket but i dont recommend using it for freeway use!). New fork seals and re-oil(cheers Mundy!)
I bought the bike a year ago fully faired as a dedicated fighter project and so i have 90% of the old fairing and parts(some were sold to finance the build)all in great uncrashed condition, including the airbox and K & N filter, clipons, original end can etc.
I am posting it on here first as i would rather see it go to a member but if no-one is interested it will be onto ebay.
I am asking 5 grand, no offers. As with all projects it owes me much more but i think the price is fair as it was not a damaged bike and the spares that are included. It has ten months NSW rego.
So if anyone is interested let me know as it is great condition and there is bugger all to spend unless you want to alter the look of the bike. If a member buys it i will also throw in a 954 blade duck tail i bought that never made it onto the bike.
It goes hard and is great fun to ride.
