HI,

First post on here, so hi to all the members.

Just looking for some advice for changing the swingarm on my GSXR750. Id like to keep the standard wheel rim, but open to suggestions which arm would fit without too much hassle, could be tempeted into a bigger rear wheel though!. Is there any late model GSXR arm which would fit and look a bit more modern?

Cheers any advice appreciated.

You can fit a later model set of 750/1100 wheels (90-95) into the '87 model with a few adjustments. It would save doing the whole swingarm swap and save you a few bucks.

Supercharger Mark did it for his 85 1100:

Thanks for the info, wheel looks good on there. Anymore info on the adjustments required?

Mark could tell you but I seem to remember you will need a new rear caliper hanger off a later model GSXR (or fabriacte one yourself) and new spacers for the rear axle. That was about it. I think the front is a bit harder but I forget what is needed there, so don't quote me. If you're lucky, Supercharger might see this and help you out.
