Have any of you guys got a set of clipon risers that will fit gixxer '91[50mm] forks. I need about a 50mm rise above standard clipons, this will give me a near standard riding position on the turbo project.
I've perused US ebay, [nothin in OZ]and there's a set of Duc risers that will do the job, and I've placed a bid on them, but I was hoping to find something closer to home.
There are convertibars 400.00in US, helibars 445 from mick Hone. LCL bars 700.00!!:(, they are not worth that kind of stupid money.[V]
I don't want to use the standard top yoke conversion, as the idiot lights will be interfered with, and the bars may obscure the dash, which I've now mounted into the fairing.
Any takers?

This is what I put on my Katana, Tingate swan neck clip ons, they were $116 which included postage about 18 months ago. Tingate Racing

Thanks Russ, I'll give them a call. There was actually two of these at the local wreckers, but not a matched pair, and were for much smaller forks. They look okay though

You could try what i did on my 91 750 slingshot...
i moved the bars from under the yolks and switched them over left for right , which ended up giving me a comfortable flat bar riding position

Another NT member, Hurray! Welcome Aussiecat, thanks for the phone number. If I don't win the Ducati clipon risers from US Ebay, it will come in handy.
Moog,I can't loose any more height from the front end, so moving the 'bars over the top yoke won't work, unfortunately. Good suggestion, all the same.I actually had them setup that way for a while, felt okay, but there's just not enough fork length.
