Take a good long look at the old girl cause she's not going to look like this for much longer. I finally got my new bike last week and can start to strip down the 12r and get her looking like she should.

Paint job is almost finalised - working on a plan for the exhaust right now. I'm also considering either new subframe or just go subframe brackets for the tail lift - I have to talk to an engineer about that soon :) I'm STILL looking for a suitable light setup tho...

So give me a few weeks/couple months and I should have her looking hot. The plan is to have her done by bike week...

Famous last words probably...

Heres my new girl VTR1000. Love that low down torque from the twin :D - I know the firestorms dont exactly set the world on fire performance wise but shit she handles so much better then the big ninja. 500kms on the clock and no more chicken strips (well almost...) Fuck me tho - this weather in brissy is lousy right now - she did look like a new bike 2 days ago...

I still have you down for the GC Bike Week Show, so try your hardest mate. When will you be pulling it apart as I need a few bikes for the Story Bridge Show as well on the 15th July. Look out for the post when I do it after this.......

yeah i dont think she'll will be any good for the story bidge bike show - unless I pull the plastics off the VTR ;) - currently the radiator is held on with tie wire and zip ties after it fell off the bike at a set of lights on the way home from work... [:I]

I guess you could call it a ratfighter...[:o)]

Love to see a bike that gets used. I bought my VTR with 45000kms on it and sold it two years later with 175000. The GSX is sooo much nicer to tour on though.
