I dunno?

I`m at the piont where it`s fine tuning time on "Asylum"& after changing the jets & making sure there is NO air leaks anywhere the bike starts fine BANG first go[8D]but then upon settling to idle its knock`n itself to bits:(backfiring thru the carbs[:o)]i leaned out the jetting but when you SLOWLY run her up to say 6000rpm all good[:p]shut it off & she hangs up like a 16 year old`s skirt on her second date[:p]cam placement is fine & the carbs are like a hospital[:0]
Now being next to it i`ll offer two angles[:I]1 is if the cam chain tenshoner is not right[?]
2 or is it pick up(set at 15% BTDC)
