Ok Clint, you need these to make your life easier & your bike more powerful & economical (plus, you can tell people you've got a turbocharged AND fuel injected GS 500) I bought these off the 'Bay recently thinking they were 1100 jobs but they're 750s - too small for my application.
I've seperated the & rejoined the end (TPS)& middle (throttle wheel mechanism) ones so the're now a perfect setup for a twin, all you need is a 100mm length of 10mm angle with 4 holes drilled in it to fasten them together (or you could leave them floating) & a standard Kwaka DFI TPS from a wrecker.
Because I'm such a FUCKING TOP BLOKE, I'll let you have 'em for what I paid ($1700) + 2 schooners of Old at the Fools*.
I'll even throw in the other 2 so you'll have spare injectors, etc.
They're 30mm in, 35mm out, perfect for blow thru & they're the oldskool single butterfly type so you don't have to worry about removing the secondary butterfly & plugging up the holes, etc.
Jeez, I'm good to you Ice ;)
*In the event of non attendance at Fools Run, the 2 schooners shall be replaced with a deemed value of $50 per schooner payable in cash - TurboKat's legal council.

I have heard of guys adapting car TPS's to bike TB's. I think that one of the guys on the gPZ900r.org forum used one from a hyundai.

Seeing as I know less about fuel injection than what I do about turbos, and it's only 52 days til the fools run, this is gunna be interesting.

Oh yes, forgot to mention the kawa injectors on the 1100 are low impedance so you will need to run resistors, are you going to build a Megasquirt? It is by far the cheapest ecu even though you have to assemble it yourself.

I had a look at some of the info you and Chalky put up the other day, and it would seems that Megasquirt would be the go.

Best bet is to read through the Megamanual at this link - http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/mtabcon.htm
Not to sure about the time frame but nothing is impossible, if i could do it anyone can :)
I will email you the part numbers of the sensors that I used on the zed, (they are ntc termistors and read more accuratly than teh std buell ones on my mate XB12, lol) they are really small and not expensive. I got them from Farnell in one. You will also need a fuel pump, is turbocat going to hook you up with the fuel pressure regulator :D from the original tbs? 2 or 3 relays and some fuses and thats it.

Clints shopping list.
Efi fuel pump,& small holden efi filter
boost referenced regulator
ecu, s/h wolf 2d,microtech digi or mt4(these only go to 8k rpms and would need to double the input signal ), haltech f3 f5 f7 or f9.
i can help with starter maps for the haltech and microtech.
Megasquirt have a good rep but not everyone can build them, are they available done or s/h?
Efi fuel lines,clamps tee's .
still not cheap from this point but can still be easier than carbs if there is a difficulty tuning

Hey Iceman, One of my customers is using my old MT4 fuel only computer to run his Turbo ZX9R,he's making over 200hp with it & it run's very nice for a budget unit.
Here's one that could be worth a bid.

Ben was yours 12krpm enabled or were you running it a 1/2 speed to deal with the 8k rpm limit on the mapping

EXBEN

No still only has settings to 8000, after that it uses manifold pressure to control the fuel. Not ideal but I guess you won't really be cruising at above that anyway.
