Guys, I am seriously looking for a suzuki RG500 engine to install into my recently rebuilt RGV 250 to turn it into a street weapon. Thankyou.

Welcome to ASF Greg.

Always loved the RGvs. Can't help you with an RG500 moteur....even if I had one I wouldn't sell :)

Bro,just buy a GSX-R 11 and whack the motuer in your RGV roller.

I have a mate who runs a CR500 motor in a RGV frame...defo worth considering such a thing if you can't source a RG500 donk...very neat and very light.

ive got a mate who already has a RG500 motor in a rgv.

now his after a set of crank cases so he can make the RG500 motor into a V twin..

this should be interesting.

nice idea putting an rg500 engine in ya rgv250 chassis, but good luck getting an engine man ive been chasing one for eva! If you check out early editions of sportsbike magazine you will find an rgv500 built by grameham boyd of suzuki of newcastle it had carbon brake and all! cheers ben! Go SUZUKI!!
