I have a load of useful stuff to off load but it will have to wait until i am in auss which will be about April time as the postage costs from rip off Britain wont make it a bargain unless you know different of course.

Just so you chaps and chapets know posting any of this stuff will cost an arm and a leg.
It will be best to let me know if you want first dibs on anything and i will put your name along side the part(s) so i can contact you when i arrive in Aus around April time.
The parts are all going in with my household effects and is costing no extra to bring over so i may as well do it and have a small flurry of cheap parts for people.
I have been asked how much do i want. As i do not know what the prices are in the wreckers over in aus (apart from what i have heard on hear is they can be expensive)it's a bit difficult for me to say. What i will say is all i am looking for is to make back what it has cost me (I have been getting the stuff cheap off of ebay uk) and if i make a bit on top it will go to my fighter project
I will be updating the list from time to time as i acquire more spares

Alf

Alf' i run Bosch Super Sport Inductive Core 308's on my Dyna coils, not sure if they are raw but is there any noticable advantage with the suppression leads?

alfiestorm

Be honest with ya nothing noticable on the road with dyna leads maybe on the dyno, They are more flexible and less prone to core breakage so are more reliable than most others

Nah, I used to work for Defence Housing Authority in CBR a couple of years ago. Had to sort out all the PMKeys rubbish, set up cross referencing systems etc, as well as dealing with the weekly postings data.

Hey Alfie,

Can I suggest something, Although its more work for you. Is it possible that you highlight the changes you make to this topic as each time you change something, it still looks the same lol. Im a lazy reader sometimes and Im sure others are too. If you highlighted the new stuff then there will be no excuse for people not knowing what you have added, but you would have to un-highlight the older bolded stuff and only leave the new items bolded.

Just a thought.

Yeah know what ya mean but most of the updates at the moment are descriptions of stuff when I first put the TL1000s forks on here I forgot to say they require re-chroming. Whats it like getting forks re chromed/coated is it expensive in Auss and are ther many places that do it?
I have had to stop buying stuff now just got a few last cheeky bids on stuff that may come my way and thats it as I have to get everthing packed away. Oh those exhaust cans look even better in the flesh you will love e'm
The day of moving and starting a new life in Auss is getting ever closer ooooohhhhhhh i'm so excited

Awesome mate... cant wait for them lol... and I bet you are excited.. sleepless night? its always exciting getting closer to moving.. if you happen to find a subframe and all the plastics for either an R1 (98-00) or GSXR600/750/1000 k1-k4 for an obscenely cheap price, let me know.

Thanks mate

people that are selling them sub frames over here think they are made of gold going by the prices they want equivalent to au$535 and that is just for the plastics I call them tossers. Having said that you do get the odd gem but you have to be quick :D

Hey mate FYI, if you don't already know make sure all the stuff you are bringing over has been cleaned of all dirt and plant matter or customs will charge you a VERY tidy sum for them to steam clean it for you. My brother imported a 2nd hand foam seat from the UK and it was crumbling slightly - they steam cleaned it and just billed him.

Thanks Pete
I have been very careful to make sure that all parts I have are cleaner than a clean thing from planet clean during a very clean year
:D
The firm I am using to move everything have given me a print out of the requirements from AQUIS and it is very strict for motor vehicles, parts and soft furnishings I have done everything by the book so I should be ok but you never know. I am going prepared and have allowed some cash for unexpected things like this.

How much for the ign leads mate

Seifer
22-03-2007, 07:37 PM
Hey champ, can you please give me the measurments for the headlights and let me know if it will be possible to slice them in half. When in April are u getting here?

alfiestorm

The case size is 115mm high 90mm deep and 170mm wide. You could if you want cut the case in half if you want to mount the lights further apart but I think if you done that you would have to make up something to hold the lights or seal the two halves

Hope to arrive in Adelaide about the 20-04-07

Alfie,
in the pics with the lights in it, top right hand side, what light is that off? looking for a std Honda CBR 1000f rear. They came out with indicators in the sides like that instead of the poxy side mounted ones in Aus.
