I read somewhere some time back that the Cagiva mito was actually made by Ducati as a copy of the 916 and it actually has some parts that where actually off a 916.

So the question im asking is this:D

Will a ducati front wheel fit in a cagiva mito [?]

Obviously im talking of around the same era as the mito 00-05 mods espeicially, any info or links to sites that may have this info or maybe even a guru on italian bikes would be greatly appreciated.;)

A mate of mine has a Mito, was parked next to a 748R a while ago, some parts did look 100% the same (like the dsah, guages, switchblocks). As for the wheel, um, mate put a 120/70-17 tire on the Mito, and it rubbed, so must have run a 110, or a 120/60 or something STD??? Wheel still may be the same? Mito has bracket for 2nd caliper, but only single disk. Dunno if the rim has disk mounting posts??

Mito is as loud and uncomfortable as Ducati, and kinda fun like a Duke too!

Im not worried about the tyre just the wheel[?]

Is his an early one or a late one[?]

Because with out going out and lookn at mine im sure its only got the single caliper mount

Not sure what year model his is, rim only has single disk mountings, so I would presume the wheel is designed for a Mito only...? Maybe I fucked up with the caliper mounts... [:I]
