Well sort of...this actually serves a purpose :D. It replaces the weak diaphram clutch with a proper 6 bolt/spring job.

Now I just need a clutch window.....

So this is the inside of the stock clutch cover.....this thing weighs in at 1.2kg !!
I'm assuming the fancy system on the back is to do with the oil...picks up at the bottom and routes it round to the thing on the right of the pic.

This is the mdf template. I actually only need a flat plate as the clutch unit does not stick out past the cases (result).
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/102936551726882.jpg

What I need now is a piece of plate about 10mm thick to make the new cover (mdf would get a bit soggy).

Iceman and Deano..you have mail.

Got a decent grade piece of 12mm plate today.....$15 from scrap yard :D
Ordered the oil level glass and o ring as well. Now I just need ideas on the oil filler neck.
Maybe just a tube welded on at an angle ??
I looked in the local auto store and they had some thermostat housings that might do...need buffing up but they're bolt on so that would be an easy fit....Any ideas anyone ?? [:p]

Just had a brain wave.....I already have a hole that oil can be added through...the crankcase breather hole...Add a hose and a removeable filter and bingo oil filler.:D

This is the cover I made up using mdf template and 12mm ali plate.
I nearly had the collar sorted until I tried to take a bit tooo much off and crunch.:(.that was that...routers don't take prisoners.....Hopefully Iceman to the rescue.;)
The back of the cover is milled out to reduce the weight, just leaving the full thickness around the gasket area and the mounting holes. Should have a new oil level window tomoro.:)
Got summat up me sleeve (besides aluminium snow) for the cover bit...gonna get creative :D

Finally got the oil filler sorted...only to discover the thread size is 1 1/16" UNF 12 tpi :( Taps for this are made of Unobtanium.
Sooo I now have a nut coming from the supplier that I can get welded on the back of the case :)
Also got the cam tensioner and 2 new 'arms' for the screen. Billet ali with steel inserts, left hand thread one end. Just need to get them anodised blue.
