hey all, just sayin hi and wat a great site, yes ive come from the cbr250 site. i hate that every cbr looks the same so im fightering mine beyond cbr250 recongition. first of it the ugly stick of a rear end they have. ive got an mc19 and looking at a z750/thou or R1/6 rear sub-frame. does any one know if they fit? of any other model fits on? thanks guys

Hi Chef boy,

You won't find a tail from another bike that will be a straight bolt-on fit. It will need some (or lots of) mods to the sub-frame to mate it up. Don't let that put you off though - it's not that hard as long as you get the whole tail and subframe from the donor bike.

Have you looked at the TYGA kits? They make the CBR250 look pretty damn sweet. Use the tail off that and get rid of the front fairing, tidy it up a bit, and itd look great.

RC51 tail might fit....lots of other race glass avail for 250's....I'd go for a 1 piece tank-tail.

thanks guys. umm yeah ive seen the TYGA ones. but every1 is getting them so its not really indiviual even bike shops are starting to sell them. if anyone has a Z750 or thou and would be so kind as to measure the sub frame ie where it bolts onto that would be great. thanks
