I am chasing a Bar brace similar to this with or without the padded bit which will hopefully fit onto the bars of my Z1000. I thought maybe some of you guys have one that you took off your bars.

If anyone has one they are willing to part with let me know how much and we can do business.

Cheers

Actually that raises a point because it's not on a dirt bike but a road bike is it alright to remove this piece I mean I don't use the fighter for stunting and don't ride it on the dirt so what do guys reckon. anyone removed theres and had any problems.
As for Matt let me see what I can do I think I can get you one will let you know.

Yea mate, it's fine to remove. As you said it's more aimed for the impact of landings and anything that might make the bars flex across the width. Road use will have no issues at all as they are not that tall enough to need bracing anyway.

I told Matt to post on here as I know some Guys remove them.
Mine are 750mm, half way between the aveage 700 road size and
the 800mm Dirtbike. I always use these.

Im quite happy to run them without the Brace.
Never had a problem.
Mine was removed untill i saw the F*ck#ng mess underneath
from when it had been fitted, so I put it back on. :D
From my understanding the brace is there as a back-up for
the bars when you bin the bike, pick it up and off you go.
Fine on a dirt bike, but on a Streetbike you normally smash
a dozen other things anyway.
