The 4th film has been talked about for years now.....and thats all its ever been. Check out www.madmaxmovies.com its all there.

According to the above site (which I have found to be the most researched) the bikes in the first film were Z1000's, Z900's and CB750/900.
In the Road Warrior there was an XS1100 with a side car.

Just double checked. As the xs750 only came out in 76 and the film was released in 79 I doubt they would have had the budget for a nearly new bike. In contrast all the kwaks were from the early 70's so were probably dirt cheap (especially compared to a Yamaha :D)
