Top fuel dragster [Archive] - Aussie Streetfighters

Hi all, I remember reading a while back a very interesting description of what happens in the motor of a top fuel dragster over the quater mile and how it would go against Rossi's MotoGp bike. I'm not sure but I think it was on here. Can anyone point me in the right direction

There is one guy who's gone super sonic without a machine !

He's a NASA or US Airforce type who got on a platform with a huge special balloon on it.

He has this space suit type thing and a prototype parachute.

The balloon caries him to the edge of space and he jumps off.

Normally you only go about 200 kph and the wind resistance balances out gravity , but up that high the air is very thin.

Apparently he's the only person to go faster than the speed of sound without a car/plane etc.

Lucky prick ;)
