Hmmm... I just got a few engine covers back from the powdercoaters and the actual colour on the items differs from what I expected it to look like and am now sitting here thinking WTF have I done.. From the colour chart and also the colour tag (pre coated tin sheet) to the actual colour on my parts is slightly different. It seems a lot brighter than I expected.

Question.... Do I go and get the parts snd blasted back to metal again and try again for a more suitable colour or do I just deal with it and learn to get used to the current colour lmao...

Pic of colour on item to follow shortly.

Was hoping for a slightly darker shade as per demo colour tag.

Got any pics of what you expected it to look like Jarrod?
I'd like to see the diff between what you wanted and what you got.

Yeah Ozzy, they are pretty damn cheap too (cost me $60 for them to sand blast the items and then powdercoat them).

Maybe it was just the light in the office that made the colour look different to what I got. I guess after all parts are on bike, I might get used to it lol... or live with the reputation of looking like a try hard lol..

Personally I don't mind the colour. Were you hoping to match it to something?
Oh & BTW you can't sandblast fresh powdercoat, you've gotta chemicaly strip it.

Thanks Ben. The colour looked close to the blue brake lines and the bar ends etc.. just as a throw off colour from the black.

Its all good. Ive decided to allow the colour time to grow on me lol,.... 2 out of those four parts done are spare parts anyway so if I got desperate then Id just have to do two of them.

Just waiting for my tank to be finished and organise a replacement water reservoir for my radiator and Im almost done.

Cheers Jarrod. As for the blue, I reckon you'll get the full picture once it's on mate. Might work a treat?

Woah Jarrod - thats blue... It could work if you tie the colour in somewhere else on the bike.
