Always wondered what a bit of a strip down would look like on one of them. Welcome aboard mate.

Hi Damo1
Where do I start.
Yamaha made a heap of cool gear for the MT-01 of which I've bought:
Akropovic Pipes , single seat kit & a heap of carbon parts.

I've also bought a number of carbon parts in from Germany including the tail unit, tank cover etc.

Stu from Streetfighter Supermarket got me in aheap of gear including the Alloy reservoirs, Mirrors, Stainless lines & a number of other parts.

I've also purchased the Galfer rotors, Power Commander & bigger velocity stacks.

I'm sure there's more but can't think of it all now.

I'm looking to take her to Calder Park in the next few weeks & run her at the street drags - Should keep a few Harley Riders honest!

I'm hoping to hook up with you all for a ride soon.
Cheers
Glen

I've had her up to 210 but she had a heap more left & I had no more road. The fun is in getting to around 180 - A new experience altogether.

Nice bike I have just bought an MT-01 and love it
How much wieght did you drop by making the changes and how much more power did you gain?
Also I am interested in setting up the suspension it is a little soft with the standard set up
Cheers Lorne

nice, ive never seen one in person, dont know if they are here in the states or not. Is it a real pushrod motor or did yamaha do a trick on us? I remember the vstar "cooling fin" heads on a water cooled motor:).

love the carbon.
