heyguys , thought I would introduce myself, new to the streetfighter scene but not new to modifying, my name is ben but everyone calles me hawksy, i am a mechanic by trade but did most of my apprenticeship on heavy machinery and boats plus a good amount of time spent in performance workshops(cars). I have owned a few bikes in my 27 years on this planet first one when I was bout 10 was a honda 110 (crashed it heaps ,broke my first bone) second bike when I was about 17 was a honda cx650e ,loved that bike. did some travelling and the first thing I did when I got back was do it up , started with clipons relocation of handlebar mounted fuse panel many body mods and painted it and put one off stripes onthe thing , colour is for ascot grey with pearl and a light amount of glitter ,alldone by me at home . 2nd bike was a yellow 98 vtr firstorm ,fullmicronsystem, carbon everywere looked great until I had a head on 1month after purchasing it . next bike was a trx850 ,did great endos handled well but not enough power, which brings me to my latest purchase , a yamaha vmax which I have now fallen in love with(does amazing roll-on burnouts) and plan to spend an absene amount of money on. always loved the veetwin or v4 power delivery , but have alove for anything modified . anyway guys I will be on this site more often to hear your thoughts and hopefully pass on info about my current build.
cheers , goldcoast hawksy
