better off using the throttle bosies and as much as you can from the srad and run it with another computer. and if you are gunna go that far u might aswell put a turbo on it

I think all Suzuki EFI units use a cam position sensor. This will stuff you up the most as there is no facility to adapt this to the older donks. An after market computer can run without this but it means so much stuffing around getting the correct parameters set, you would be better off fixing your carbs or buying an EFI bike.
The 1996/97 EFI throttle bodies are spaced wrong and are too large to fit in the biggest oiled cooled carb boots. They are like 48mm OD??

Go on Doc, you know you want to try it. If I can fuel inject the GS anything is possible. Really just depends on the amount of mucking around you want to do.

LOL @ Deano. My carbs are fine CC. I was just cleanin the shed up and found em.Spacing aint a drama, I got 38 mm bodies here what go on, I was just thinking while its in a million bits I could fuck something else up on it.Hehehe.And Ice, well , I dont really got much to say about that apart from go fuck yourself :).

Yeh it'll work.

You'll need a powercommander to get it really right or a TEKA tune to get it close.

The Suzuki ECU uses both the ignition and the cam pos sensor for timing the injection though.

You'll need a few other sensors.

It'll want a MAP, baro, AIT, water temp (just stick it in the oil), cam pos , and crank trigger.

Did that model have secondary throttle valves ?
