A mate at work is look at one to buy .. does anyone know anything about them .. good bad indifferent .. its got 9000k serviced all the time bla bla bla

Mate of mine had one a few years back - until it got stolen. He reckons it was a good thing, except he's 6 ft 4 in and it was a little cramped.
They were one of the first 600's to come out with ceramic coated cylinders if I'm not mistaken and from all reports they're a sweet little motor.

yeah my old man has one and it hasnt been look after after just flogged to and from work and the occasional hills ride and it run sweet as and has never let him done, and thats with 55k on the clock or there abouts!!

YZF's are a little gem. Super reliable, kinda comfortable, easy to service, fun to ride...maybe I'm biased...mine isn't stock any more :D

I reckon they would make a good 'fighter too - but the 97 had Ram Air, so horrid looking holes in the frame :( Gotta be Blue :D

Only problem i have seen on the fzr/yzf is valve adjustment on the missus 400 and a mates 750, both became hard to start and idled rough and both had tight valves, the 400 re developed the problem after a year so was traded the 750 is still fine

Well its come down to " the bike has to be BLUE " so im werdin up the GSXR but the one she is looking at is her colour .. Russ How long did you hold the bike up for to get a good pic .. :D;)

This was my old Yzf an b4 any of you smart asses comment on the colours i never got run over :) Cant say they didnt see me coming! Was a great old bike and never had any problems till i blew third gear in a burnout comp costing me $1700 to win $50 :( The new box with back cute gears worked a treat, come to think of it i have blown the gearbox in every bike ive owned lol The old girl Ran up to 74000k when i sold it an was still goin hard!

Mine has about 70,000K's on here now, never even had the head or sump off :) Still goes hard :)
