Changin leads gix11 coils?.and chain run out?

can it be done properly?. And how much chain run out is too much ??

what are you having issues with. the leads with unsrew from the coils, you just gotta take the 'keeper' off firts as it has little barbs that hold the lead in. then just screw the new leads in. it can be a prick of a job but can be done with a little time and patients.

as for the chain. - why is it out of line. have you changed rear wheels or motors?

if it is only a couple of mm and needs to go in at the front sprocket then try fitting a 520 front sprocket as it is about 3-4mm narrower

Thanks bloke, I rung suzi and asked for new leads, they said nope they dont come out , come buynew coils for 140 bucks each, I didnt look, I just cried and ran home to ask the gurus. I just screwed a gix thou ass under me 11 and looks as if i gotta space front out by about 5 mm, and flip rear sprocket over. Just fishing before I start work on it again next weekend is all.

looks sounds like you may be able to just machine a little space to help with the front sprocket if only gotta come out a few mm
