Check it out.

I've got Krash's new ride at my joint.

Never really considered a Triumph but I really like it. It'd be on the list of 50 different bikes I'd have as "another" bike.

It's a 2007 Model and it's pretty much new.

1050cc 3 cylinder engine so the grunt is good but it still revs good.

love the speed tripples.

id personlly turf the lights/bugscreen of ASAP but otherwise the bikes are a great looking bike.

ditching the stock cans, and cleaning up the tail, has done the bike a lot of favors, nice work, looks shithot.

I would luv a triple (just that bit different), and they did a good job on em, looks good. i dont rate the front bugscreen/lights.

BUT really for $16k and considering a GSXR has more HP potential I would stick with the Suzuki, but sure it is nice. Although I reckon the new 675 would also look good as a fighter cause they r so small.

I thought the Speed Triples would look good without the poxy mufflers - and don't they what!! Change the headlight (that Yammy motard thing that TK was selling would look good on this), grind off the lugs on the subframe and that would be just about perfect.......

I wasn't thinking just the lugs had to go.

The whole lower subframe bar.

The idea would be to make a custom one that follows the stock undertray until its under the fuel tank , then back around to the lower mount.

With some bracing etc it should be strong enough.

Roughly like this.....

No no no no no no no no!!!! You dont want one of those... erm.... not because I'm getting one but... err... because... err... they are Austrian and therefore... err.. use a different power supply to Australia - yeah thats right... Austrian bikes run on 116.5 volts AC and the cost of converting it just wouldn't make sense mate... I'm sure Aceberis make something suitable... [:p]

But otherwise mate - looks good now - can't wait to see the end product.

Looks shithot Stocky
Krash, you've really cleaned up that fat stumpy arsed look they have from the factory, Two things though,[there's always somethin'!] the headlights DO need to be closer in to the triples,[ although it sounds like they are getting turfed anyway,] and removing the strut from the back doesn't really do anything, except create more work. Just loose the lugs, the line of the brace is in keeping with the rest of the angles of the bike.
Just my two cents, I really like trumpy's triples, but if I had the cash , would prolly get a Bennelli TNT, a bit more animal.......but for a lot more money
