gentlemen
after aquiring myself a 750J i am after the following bits to get it track worthy.
gear linkage assy
tacho - any oil cooled model shoud be ok
battery box
88/89 750 ignition module
Fuel tap

Ah Deano sorry for my ignorance but why do you need
fuel tap
wouldnt you run a straight
through fuel line from the tank to the carbs its not
going to matter if you dont have a reserve tap is it

At the moment mate i got nothing more than a hole in the tank. i would take anything that will allow me to put a couple of hoses onto it and then run it to the carbs.
your right reserve is not needed

What about an RGV one Deano - 2 outlets straight no tap :DThats what I use means no reserve tho

I've got an '89 1100 tacho and soon a '90 750 one if Clive's isn't what you need.

Opps the outlet I have is of a 85 RG 250 and still available from Mick Hone for about $30.

I've got a std 750 fuel tap you can have if you want it, i changed it for a high flow one

G'day deano sorry for the delay in getting back to you here is a photo of the tacho, it's an 86 model and has three wires out of it
1 orange
2 white
3 black with white trace
hope this helps I'll put it in the post tomorrow if you still want it

Deano, I've got an ignition module from '90 750 L If ya want, we can swap, starter coil for module:)

Well it ran. no front end was in it at the time but getting the motor running was a big bonus.
ended up throwing a spare usd front end in it over the weekend and found that the supplied front wheel and discs that came with the bike were more bent than a sydney sider during mardi gras.
not impressed about that
