My hand today!! Im over it!!

Got chucked off a husky 410, jumping set of doubles.... at 8 am on 5 May 06... after a night on it!!! Me idiot!!!!

11 May, First Operation: screws etc... Then spent 2 weeks getting my bike ready for Rapid.... A few rides up the old road etc... One screw loose, One screw snapped, A piece of bone caught in wrist joint..... Me Idiot!!!!

10 July, Second Operation: screws, plate, bone graft..... havent looked at my bike untill I saw it in rapid...

Result: lost income!!!!!!!!!!!! pain, pain, pain.... But will be ready for straightliners

The words from my wife still ring in my head 'peter be careful on that track after being up all night!!!'

I should be going in this week for my fourth op on my leg because one of the screws has come undone.
Mine is workers comp though so it is as good as a paid holiday!

Haha, although I have been told that everything tastes like kerosine afterwards. I might have to suggest a lock-nut with a split washer.

I found only 1 soleniod from a boat supply shop, in Roseville... with 40mm of pull at 22 kg... It was 270 dollars...( used for big diesel fuel cut-off) I have not got it yet, cause I want to get to the drags and see what others have done.... When my hand is good I will be back on the job....
