That's to Frankie and Badvan I got these bad boys through the post today for me bikes. I have a sneaking suspicion that somebody I know who does fibre glassing might want to borrow them before they go on. Anyone interested?

Badvan (Ralph). He used to hang around here a bit. He knows the guys at Megatech. But with these, he got the Psycho mask (on the left) secondhand from a german guy that was selling it, and the other one at cheaper than website listed price (somehow). Still not super cheap with the Aussie dollar so weak (you'd probably do better seeing as how you have the Euro), but with postage to Aus both units came to around Au$650 all up. This shit is impossible to get over here so I'm happy as a bastard.

In the process at the moment guys. I will strip them down and see how hard it is to create the light unit as the only contacts I have are for the fibreglass shells. They seem to be running the bulbous round Buell lights. Leave it with me guys and I'll report back soon.

We're just starting to get some of the cool mini-headlight fairings in from germany now. They will start to be listed on the site this week - the first one in is the triple 6 unit (that's the one on the right of the pic up top - but without the vents. That looks like something the previous owner has done themselves..), it comes in white gelcoat with twin projector beams and retails for $499. We've also got the triple 6 front mudguards in now (as fitted to my bike) for $169 in a white gelcoat finish. (Obviously you guys would get 10% of those prices, too).
The next headlights to come in should be here in about a month-or-so and should look awesome.... I'll see if I can post some pix soon...
As I said before guys - I CAN get this stuff for you if you ask!

i think the vent is on the 666 "special" or something like that
costs heaps more for some reason??

for the actual lights why not use the little projector ones u can get
they are about 100 bucks each with H3 bulbs from memory

used to be able to get them from the throttle shop, not sure where now

As you can see all the lights are high quality factory units and the fairings are usually made from glass.... so you're assured of a great product!

quick draw, the first white one loks like a simpson helmet..kinda.. fk 500 for a headlight. i paid 70 and i though that was pushing my luck...hahahaha. yer i like the one with the vents reminds me of "general grevis" out of one of the jedi movies

One on the right looks kinda familiar :).

They are projector beam headlights i think, so you could be spot on there fimp. 1 dipped and 1 high.
The lights work very well once they have been lined up. and are 'e 'approved, so good for the mots' in the UK, and Ireland. Although the low beam does dip to the right. But it is simple to reverse. I took pics of how i reversed the beam pattern on mine.

A huge improvment from the normal 'streetfighter/enduro' lights with the 30/50W downlighter bulbs.

I also used to do the Raptors (I can still get them if anyone really wants one), but the lights are only 35W and tend to burn out quickly. They are plastic, not glass, and retail for around $120-ish...

There's a bike in this month SF mag with a "Phantom" fairing
but its not the same. Different, Not as mean looking.

Anyone.....Whats an "H8" bulb / light ?
Is it a standard type bulb or some obscure german / EU size ?
Im sure all I ever used was H4's ?
