Thanks to every1 who came along whether to ride or to watch.Nice weather and it wasn’t too busy up there making it even better. We ended up with 10 ASF bikes out there (7 Suzuki’s, 2 Kwaka’s & 1 Honda).
BLOODY ICEMAN never intended to ride lol he just didn’t inform us till the day so we couldn’t bag him out lol;)
Well I had a ball, being the 1st real track day I have done (the 1st one I could barely walk) I enjoyed it so much I cant wait to do it again.
Heaps of friendly stirring,, 2 of the major topics who is THE best bike manufacturer - and clipon’s lol[:o)]
1 stack (Turbo’s mate so he will tell you all about it) and a thank you to Deano’s Biatch:D for all his great help lol
For those who were there and know how shit my forks were, we got back Saturday and went to work on the bike. Cleaned the forks out changed the oil making them minutely better(but not good) and changed the gearing, so of course had to try it out on Sunday[:p].

Yep, it was a bit o' fun alright, was good to catch up with the crew I already knew (Jo, Ross, Kev, Dean, Shane & IceGirl) & to meet some of the newer members (Sharky, Booster & Oldskool) now that I've met these 3 & found them to be thoroughly good lads, I can start putting shit on them (it's the Aussie way Sharky, you'll get used to it) ;)
Not wanting to pump her tyres up too much, but that GSXAR chick would put a lot of blokes to shame [:0] (I'm looking directly at you Icepoof :() first she does the entire Fools ride with no steering damper & nearly gets slapped off the bike repeatedly & just shrugs it off, then she turns up at a trackday with Fred Flintstone's forks in her Gixer. I pushed up & down on 'em & couldn't believe how solid they were, "no problem" says Jo, "I'll just hafta fix 'em for nextime" What a woman![^] (By the way fellas, I've already checked if she has any sisters - she does, but she doesn't play for our team [V])
A few interesting things I noted on the day;
IceBlouse stooged us all into thinking he was riding & never intended to but was too SCARED to say so on the forum for fear of a public bagging - well IcePussy, I'm making up for it now - I warned you. :D
KevKatana rides his mates bikes a LOT faster than he rides his own. [:0]
Deano can do a whole trackday without getting his knee down.
Booster is fast.
Oldskool's bike is a fucking horn machine [:p] (for a Gixer anyway)
Kawasaki ZX9Rs have far too much power for tight, twisty tracks. [:p]
Rossco hates Kwakas so much, he makes 'em crash [:0]
'93 CBR 6s go round corners better than they should.
At Winton, track knowledge is everything.
At Winton, track surface is dodgy as fuck. :(
ASF members have good taste in music.
GSXRs are poo. [:0]
Fractured Scapulars & stretched ligaments/tendons look very painful.

Anyway, I had a blast, perfect Victorian weather (as usual), few laughs, & a good crew & I'm slowly changing my mind about Winton being a cunt of a track.
Laptimes wise, Shane only timed my last session so quickest was 1m 41.3, Booster was about the same as me, Rosco was doing 1m 38s, Deano got into the 49s <s>& IceFag was sitting in the pits all day wishing he could have a go</s>

Scott's 7/11 is shorter and not jacked up at the rear like mine. Both feet flat on the ground on his.
Still,I did get my knee down with crosser bars. Fuckin' long way over. Looking foward to the next one.
