ok now that iv dropped my frame off to exben http://www.extremecreations.com.au/index.asp up in sydney last night there really is no turning back. i could feel my wallet trying to get out of my pocket and run away!

here is what my bike is getting.

Frame : machined and re-plated to allow for a 240-250 rear tire, all unused holes and tabs welded and removed ( all fairing bracket holes, left radiator hose hole ) , modifying gsxr subframe to allow hight adjustment with custom lower arms. then both re polished

Swingarm : JMC 2-8 inch over, mega top and bottom bracing 34mm wider than stock, mirror polished

engine: already ran very well with 134 hp but now adding NOS, fully detailed and painted. braided lines, some chrome.

rear suspension: Ohlins rear shock with polished mounting plates.

wheels: performance machine torque 17x3.5 front and 18x8.5 rear

paint : going to be yellow again but with a very heavy flake and some airbrushing

front end: got my mirror polished forks, ben is making me a top tripple with bar risers, making some custom bars also, not sure of design yet. maybe something like this

electrics : custom harness with keyless remote start

exhaust : going to use one of my cut off yoshi's and run it underneath the bike exiting behind right peg.

parts getting chromed :
bar end mirrors, all Master cylinders, stock switchgear, vans clutch cover, vans rear brake res to name a few

all of the above plus all the chrome parts i already had should = awesome fighter.

here is the factory bottom triple added a third bolt and sanded off the casting line to make it look a little better, halfway through polishing it.

only done 400 so far, will go down the grades sunday

hahaha you wont be far off, it will have painted tail, tank, headlight, front fender and engine, the rest will be polished or chrome.

i went to the airbrush artist here the other day and he came up with some fucking awesome paint schemes for it.

I think you are not gonna fool me with the paint thing[8D]See those gaurd`s are off a V-Rod & they are "special product" from H.D.
The guy`s that blow those parts exist of three alone[8D]
Now unless you have inside contact with those three blokes i suspect the design will be a copy[:0]

well it had alot of polished stuff and chrome before, the only real different will be the polished forks and chrome mirrors and....hand controls....and top triple...and....yeh its gona suck

cheers mate - right now I am working as a drafty for an architectural hardware company but am completing a bachelor in mechanical engineering this year - i've always gotten a kick out of 3d modelling but right now straight out technical drawing is sending me batty...

The model I did for chop is pretty rough - this is some of the stuff I was doing last year... I've gotten better since then.

Hey Fimp & ZX12, I'm a structural drafty, I use autocad atm, and the other day I had nothing to do, so taught myself how to do the 3D stuff.

AutoCad is VERY basic when it comes to 3D, but I'm going nuts over it.

ZX12, that drawing you posted is awesome! I'd love to get into that stuff...

get yourself a student or knock-offed version of any of the big 3 modelling softwares (pro-e, solidworks or inventor), do the inbuilt tutorials and then just GO NUTS!!!! :D
