Walked into a local farm shed today and discovered a GS1000 in near mint condition. The farmer bought it of a neighbours son for $1000.00 and was wondering if it was a good buy [:0]

I'm hoping he loses interest in it as I would kindly take it off his hands :D

I reckon the old GS is a great bike to play with, not to fast, but has potential to be played with..... heres one I made eralier :-)
I picked this up as a wreck in 1993, 8 months later the old girl looked a lot better, original front forks with 4" over tubes, XS1100 billet, twin bates lamps, twin cap tank, hardtailed so wifey #2 would get sick of riding to far.....
