hey vee two,

that is a mean tls. do i spy a nitros bottle in the pic? mind sending em some detailed pics??

hope you dont mind, but im thinking of fighting a tls.

one thing i just posted though was how the handing is effected with raised flat bars.
does it take away alot form the front end feel?
do you adjust your riding position/weight distribution when punting hard?

do you knwo what i ahev to be weary of when inspecting motors on a tls. i hear thay had some weak spots & a g=factory recall for something that i cannot remember.

cheers mate

the NOS bottle is show its my coolent bottle (which is a painted cut'n shunt fire extinguisher bottle) better looking than baby bottles & the likes.

ive found the handling better with fighter bars IE: i dont run a stearing damper anymore, nearly turn on a 20c coin,no more sore wrists & can throw the bike around like my XR630.

recals:
ECU exchange
added stearing damper
updated seal on the fuel pump (under tank leaked)

look out for:
one thats spent alot of time on the rear wheel (front crank bearing starves of oil & bang compleat crank & rod rebuild NO WARNING AT ALL

cracked frames
1- around the head stock due to hard landing wheelstands
2- top mount on the rear rotary damper due to over tighten or loose(best bet throw the fucken thing & buy a bitubo shock)

clutch cover leak due to over tightening can be fixed (small mod)
water pump seal weap hole (warning for seal replacement needed)
apart from that just the usual.

a lot of TLs & TLr parts are interchangerball

jump on here & have a look around or ask away for TL info. if it aint here it aint worth worring about :) www.tlzone.net
