It is the first land development stage of the Southwest growth centre in Syd, and they want to start earthworks next year. You would hope another track gets built somewhere, I doubt it though...

typical NSW shit,more houses for Billy Wong and Mahomed Yusef Archmarl Islamabad.no wonder i moved to the smart state where the new race tracks are appearing.

This has been going on for years! Maybe this time Oran will actually lose, go the same way as Amaroo. Developers - if they really want it they'll do anything to get it.

Guys - it is going - no ifs...government has it all planned...and lets put it this way im an engineer......and was recently out there without my bike......

Anyway - I think they may look at putting in another track, particularly with all teh club support they get, but it maybe that Golburn is going to be closest?? Personally I would not get ya hopes up for another Sydney track.

Oh well that leaves us 2 Eastern Creek and Wakefield Park.
Although I have heard rumours of a track being built in Bathurst
within Mt Panorama anyone else heard this?

Look it may take 2 years for em to start developing, but it is highly possible it will not be there in a year or so.

I remember going to the last ever race at Castlereagh Dragstrip.

It was fucking mayhem, people were souveniring everything that wasn't tied down. Some blokes even had pickaxes and were smashing off bits of track

there are two groups who facilitate ride days
