A mate in NZ (one of my old triple cohorts) has just bought this.It cost him US$7000 and NZ$5000 to get it shipped from Chigago.
Too much money I reckon but it is a nice example of the 78 ZIR.3000 miles on it.Don't think he'll fighter it though.

Niiice, I remember drewling over them when I first got my licence.

Big price, but if it's what you hanker for........

Whereabouts in NZ mate, that's definitely North Island scenery, around Auckland or further north? One thing New Zealand has in abundance is magic roads.

The bike *might* be worth it if it's mint/nos/one owner/stillinthebox etc.....

Nutha bloke we lived with had the black turbo version, poor little rich boy he was.
Yes Chalk,I remember thinking "how the fuck will they ever top that" when they came out...but they did.I'd still rather an H2 meself. It is North Island,he's in Upper Hutt just north of Welly.

Claire!I'm sure Mr Bear thinks otherwise. You're priceless aren't you?

Gibbo,I already tried it on him,he's broke now and would be divorced with any more spending.

Large,I thought exactly the same thing...must have used penny blacks to send the bugger over.

Ah yes. My mate had the black turbo version as well, and didn't I think he was god! Later I realaise he was a tool and sold his banidt cause it scared him (!), but the Z days made me realise what could be.

They were limited in numbers, and very exxy. Went like stink, but scary as fuck in the wet.

As I remember, they were a real dog till you got over 5K then just plain crazy.Don't think any concessions were made for the extra power over the standard bike either. But fuck,in 79 or thereabouts they looked too cool.
