Hey Stu, Will there be any scrutineering? I mean im not real keen on racing against someone whose bike isnt safe, also could cause a mess if someone grenades their engine mid track a spews oil everywhere because they dont have a catch can. I think the minimum required should be ANDRA streetbike class safety requirements. Im more than happy to help out in this way if you havent already got anyone, i can hunt up an ANDRA rule book if you require. Also Safety gear worn by the rider should be at least streetbike class requirments.

so that means anyone running under 10.5 will need an A.N.D.R.A. licence.!!!!!

Its just about keeping it safe for everyone and no major dramas. im sure everyone would be pissed off if someones engine decided to implode and spewed oil for 150mtrs just because they didnt have a catch can. Some bikes will be doing close to 200mph, that doesnt leave alot of room for error.

scrutineering will consist of an inspection by myself & 1 other (TBA) upon entry to the site & we'll be looking at common sense stuff more than anything. If you've got some ANDRA guidelines you'd like to send me (anything you think may be appropriate) then feel free to do so...
I'm not expecting everyone to roll up with a catch tray fitted & everything lockwired, but if your bikes filthy then it's gonna make it pretty hard for us to check it out....
Clean & 'roadworthy' is gonna be the go for the day (but obviously bikes don't have to be rego'd), so we'll work it out from there, eh?
