Re routing Clutch cables

Hey Guys

I'm wanting to move the clutch cable on the zx6. Currently it runs around the front of the bike to the right hand side down to clutch.

If i have a go at moving it re routing it under the tank anything i should be aware of other than the possible heat factor?

Just make sure it doesn't have any sharp turns / kinks. I ended up getting a longer cable on mine (about 100MM longer) with a 90 degree curve at the handlebar end and routed it under the bottom triple clamp, and over the rad.

it's a long cable anyway and i'm thinking it'll be taking a shorter path.
