hel brake lines..

i got a set of hel brake lines on my bike.. it has the red pvc coating on it... is there braid underneith the pvc?? and is there any advice on the removal of the pvc???

i am pretty sure there is braid underneath but just check with stu or exben for sure mate but if i was you i wouldn't cut it of anyway due to the fact its there for a reason:)

i was under the impression from the hel website its there just for a colour option... as it still braided under..

Yes there is stainless braid underneath unless they are kevlar lines.
You can remove it by running a rasor blade down the length "carefully" then stripping the outer off.

its there to stop rubbing and to tart them up the braiding is stainless steel with a teflon inner core
