spent an hour or so at the bike wreckers looking for a swingarm I would like to fit to a 1989 gixer11 frame.using a frame the wrecker had we measured and tried heaps till trev found a 92 750 swinger.nice looking thing that fit fine although 15mm shorter. Then found the 750 shock and canister fit too and the unit has shitloads of adjustment.the swingarm being 15mm shorter shouldn`t change the way the bike rides should it?someone told me that it would wheelie too easy.......and the bad side to that is?:D

been a shorter wheel base will make it "sharper handling" and make it easer to wheel stand.............................................
and that aint no bad thing................................

My 1998 gixer 750 has a 1000 motor, and the 98 is about 3 inches shorter on the swinging arm. makes a great deal of diferance
