The guy selling these bikes says they are listed as repairable write-offs, which means they will be on the WOVR list. See this link for Qld Transport:

http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/qt/LTASinfo.nsf/index/wovr_inspections

I'll bet he bought them from Fowles (http://www.fowles.com.au/). I've been to quite a few of the Fowles Brisbane auctions of late and picked up a 2000 model ZX9 earlier this year that I'm fixing. I reckon he would have got that ZX9 for around $2800, maybe less.

ZX12's are the best buys, no one seems to want them, seen them for under 5k with only light rash, like Hillsy said the 9 would probably be around the mid to high 2's. all depends on the day, number of bikes, number of punters.

Busa'a and all the other late model Sportsbikes seem to be twice the price, everyone wants them for track days or Drag Racing.

If you have the time its worth waiting for the right one for the right price.

A bit of mucking around to get them on the road again, Safety Certificate, Fowles Inspection, they get $300 odd for the privilege with very little work. Usual New Registration deal from there.

Fowles do very little, a bike we took down this week didnt even get moved, Safety Certificate pretty much covers it all anyway, just paperwork, not sure how it would have gone if it was a fighter though, probably not a hassle.

Took it to Transport Department and they didnt even look at it, go figure.

One thing I forgot, they require a few receipts for the parts you replaced and or a statement saying that you used some of your old spares that sort of thing.

Hey Sheepy, no offence mate, but I've seen that sequence before and didn't like it much the first time either. It's not the subject matter so much, but that could be someone's mate, so I'm just going to show a bit of respect to the guys family and delete them. I'm sure you'll understand.
