Pretty stock Tone, It is running a 91 model long stroke
for better drive for the short curcuits, running the mechanical
flatslides of the 87 model, the bike is around 110Hp with plans
to squeeze out more but I want learn to control it first.
It's as you say Davo, Pure Sex to ride , running Bitubo
suspension front and rear from my sponsor www.motorcycle-parts.com.au
makes it handle nice.
I just purchased another GSXR 1988 model that just may be the
Street fighter.
But if I do a fighter I want to be able to convert it back to
original one day as it is as original as they come.
Next race this weekend 30/04 at Wakefield.
Oh Davo did Si get you a Beer.

1985F-87H are long stroke 1988J-89K short stroke except for the RR
which was a long stroke 1990L saw the long stroke come back all the
way up to the last of the oil cooled.
The problem many road riders complained about was getting the
bike off the line, these things were like riding a 2 stroke you
had no real power until around 8000 rpm.
The one I just bought a 1988 short stroke is an ex-racer tuned
to run without the air filter and nothing unless you ride it at
8000rpm or above that thing is a ball tearer, now I know why they
are called a Sling shot.
