after 4000km....

well i think stage one is finally finished after the 2000 odd km test ride to AFR, the general thrashing round and now a 1000k trip to dorrigo and back.

got some good piccies of it, just before i rip it all to peices, to finish it of... so far.. im leaning towards calling it "RAPTOR" but we'll see where it goes from here.

big things comming for it, new engine, and some new body work (inc tank). now that i know im on to a good thing with the chassis.. its time to build some power, paint it all properly and make it unique.

des: indeed.. well spotted mate, its been getting noisey as of late, funnily enough it is only half way thru its adjustment span, and has done 24,000km, but fuck theres a helova lot of tightspots in it, ive got one more ride to do, then im to strip it all down anyways ;)

damo: yeah expected people to tie the raptor name to a cagiva, but once i complete what i have in my mind, you'll prolly agree the name would suit [:P]

pete: by machining.. how do ya mean? i can only do flat...2D profile cutting on the laser, from mild steel and stainless.. no alloy. however i do have a engineering fella i use on a regular basis, who looks after me on price if you need something a little more serious
